Adopted budget for Financial Year 2021/2
The majority of the Parish Council’s income in any financial year is received by it by way of the precept. The precept is the parish council’s share of the council tax. The precept demand goes to the billing authority, North Herts District Council, which collects the tax for the Parish Council. It is converted into an amount per Council Tax Band that is added onto the Council Tax bill. The amount the Parish Council requested from North Hertfordshire District Council by way of precept for financial year 2021/22 was £34,602.
