To residents of the Parish of Wymondley

You may be aware that a planning application has been made for an 88 hectare Solar Farm on agricultural land in Great Wymondley. The Parish Council is always asked to comment on such applications so the Planning Group wanted to ensure that you were aware before the Council does so:

Land to the North and East of Great Wymondley

If you have any comments or objections to this planning application they need to be made to North Herts Council before 8 January 2022 and there are three ways you can do this – via the Planning Portal, by letter to the Planning Department or the Parish Council can pass on your comments. If you want to view the application then you can view it online at  https://www.north-herts.gov.uk/view-or-comment-planning-application

Key in the case reference number: 21/03380/FP

This gives you all the details of the planning application and allows you to make any comments or objections. Note you may need to register for an account before doing so.

If you would like to discuss this planning application with the Council please telephone Councillor Martin Alcock on 01438 367540. It is better if you make individual representation directly to North Herts Council but if you would like the Parish Council to forward your comments please telephone me or send me an e-mail before the 1 January so that the Council is able to respond before the 8 January deadline.
